Dutch reality singing competition where four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.
Holland V is a 2003 Singaporean drama series produced by MediaCorp. It was the third long-running drama in Singaporean television history, and was modelled on the long running Hong Kong drama A Kindred Spirit. Like A Kindred Spirit, the main family in the series, the Mo family, operates a small restaurant in Holland Village.
Originally intended to be 115 episodes long, the series was extended to 125 episodes after performing strongly in ratings.
Ik hou van Holland is a Dutch game show, presented by Linda de Mol. It is aired prime time, on Saturday nights on RTL4. The show tests Dutch celebrities on their knowledge of the Netherlands.
The show opens with the tune of the tango song after which it was named, Ik hou van Holland, by Willy Schootemeijer. The song, sung in Dutch, was a hit in the 30s for Austro-Hungarian tenor Joseph Schmidt and later again, in the early 70s, by Dutch boy singer Heintje.
